Well today has been another of those days where life, or should I say business, gets in the way of learning Spanish. Last night I travelled into London, arrived late at my hotel and then this morning was up very early to deliver a session at a breakfast meeting of a CEO's networking event. It was a good morning and the session went very well but I was on the go from 5.30 this morning until I got on the train at 2.30pm.

However, not being one to let things like this get in the way of progress, I used the time on the train to go through some of the podcasts again and sort out my notes. It was a useful time and I really got some value from doing that.

Now I am a firm fan of Coffee Break Spanish and this morning Mark and Kara, stars of the said same, visited my site and dropped me a very supportive comment (Thanks guys). I am finding them very useful and if you have not got hold of themyet, either visit their site or search for them on itunes.

And another thing….. I am only in the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald this afternoon, page 4 no less AND my local school which is a language college has got in touch and I am meeting with the head teacher (principal) next week.

So today I had a look for some resources to help me learn the names of the days of the week and the names of the months of the year. One of my favourite sites for flashcard stuff is www.spanishspanish.com and there you will find two great interactive flash lessons to help you learn the Spanish for Monday, Tuesday, January, February etc.

Never satisfied with just one, I did some more trawling around and came up with www.businessspanish.com. This is a really good site if you are looking for vocabulary in Spanish that is peculiar to your profession. So if you are an accountant, builder or dentist, you will find Spanish words just for you. Looking around the site I also found plenty of audio files to complement to lessons. This site is well worth the look.
